If you sense laughter in the universe, it's the collective amusement of Susan's late home-ec teachers. (Home-Ec was a course taught as late as the 1970s, in which Susan was mostly proficient at browsing pattern books and creating ways to avoid cutting and sewing fabric.) During the pandemic Susan learned she has an affinity for sewing. Her affinity for sewing revealed a love of vintage sewing machines, which she collects to restore so others may experience the satisfaction of the perfect straight stitch from a 50-year-old (or older!) machine.
